There are usually 4 main reasons for this:
1) The volume on the TV itself has been turned down,
2) The HDMI cable isn’t plugged in completely (this single cable carries both the video and audio signals to the TV),
3) The content playing does not have sound (all of the content for Menu Board subscriptions is, by default, without sound, and images do not have sound),
4) (The least common reason) The volume on the media player itself has been turned down – this happens when someone pushes the – button (minus button is the lower left button on the remote, across from the + button) on the media player remote control while pointing at the device.
