Wired (Ethernet cable)

Most networks are plug-and-play with an Ethernet cable. In other words, if you can simply plug the cable into your desktop computer and get an internet connection – then the media player will also. The most common issues that stop a plug-and-play connection with Ethernet is a bad cable. Yes, like those on cars, internet cables can go bad. You can test by plugging the same cable into a different computer to verify connection, or test a different network cable. You’ll find the Ethernet port on the back of the media player. AutoNetTV recommends a wired connection over a wireless connection for better performance and reliability. For best performance, make sure the Wi-Fi option is set to Off in the Connectivity Settings.
